Thanks, havent dyno'd it yet, as the turbos are practically new, wanted to get some miles on it before i put the psi up, also need to order the 4bar tmap sensor. ive been told that it can easily run upwards of 550bhp on pump gas with meth.

if you get a tuner involved e.g Wedge or Tribela, im pretty sure it can hit 600+ bhp safely.

Garage List
i have a very similar car but have a complete M3 subframe swap.

With my standard RB's on stock LPFP and 100% meth I was hitting 530hp at 24psi

It wouldn't go any higher as I was running out of octane on pump gas.

RB's blew a seal after 2k miles and Rob is building me some Super stealths as a good will gesture.

You'll need port injection on higher boost and the stg 2 turbos aren't even trying at under 20psi

I'm aiming for 600hp

don't sell you'll regret it mate. not many playforms give you such an all round package

Thanks for your response mate. The pure stage 2''s are similar to the rb super stealths. I have been looking into port injection, I am considering it.
I know I'll regret selling the car, and if I do sell it I'll end up buying another 335i

The hpfp has died on the 335i... the car starts but idles lumpy. This is a very common problem on the n54. New hpfp are around £300 (updated version from bmw)

Pics deleted.

Clean the car for a start. I don't want to sound harsh, but poor pictures like that will put off the majority of people. It just screams that it hasn't been look after no matter what the advert says.
The idea of buying a modified car that doesn't run properly for an awful lot more than a clean, standard version goes for doesn't sit right with me either. If it's a simple fix to change the fuel pump, then do that and you'll recoup the cost many times over.
Pics of a dirty car taken in a location like that allied to it running badly just says it's not loved to someone looking at the advert coldly and dispassionately.

Do yourself a favour and sort those things out and you'll get a lot more interest.

Sorry but your car looks like a dog.

Which is a shame as you have done a lot to the power albeit no suspension, so I can't see how your car will put that power to the road effectively.

The wheels are a big let down and bird shit hardly helps.

Simply put, the car reads well but looks crap.

Clean it and get some decent shots as currently you have no hope selling that unless you drop your pants.

+1 with the pictures. I'm sure your car is lovely but the pictures are so badly taken/poor quality it will put 99.99% of buyer off. At the moment it just looks like you've taken so pictures of some else car you've seen driving around and put together a quick advert to scam people.
  • Clean the car.
  • Park the car up somewhere with plenty of light and no distractions in the background (NOT on a slip road or where ever you've taken the current photos).
  • Get your camera phone out - make sure the lens is clean
  • Take some photos with the car facing you, side, back, interior (Don't try to be arty, farty with silly angles etc, your not entering a photo competition).
  • Upload the photos without zooming them or compressing them

Good luck, your car will sell, but you need to get the photos sorted ASAP!!

Thanks for the advice guys. I wasn't 100% sure on whether I want to sell the car or not, this thread was just to feel the water and see what kind of interest i get. That's why I didn't take any advertisement worthy pics. Anyway I've learnt my lesson on how important pictures are !

I've decided to keep the car after all, and will be getting port injection and the bms tmap. I'll also be getting the full m3 axle fitted with some coil overs.

Does anyone know of an upgraded hpfp? As this is the third time my hpfp has gave out on me. Only upgrade I could find is the vtt shotgun hpfp.

Thanks

You may have better luck on your query if you post it in the specific N54 section of the forum - then stateside members can also advise since there will be more people with your sort of mods there.
