Sure...I know for a FACT BMW techs can tell if there has been tampering as far as a piggyback is concerned. MY dealer told me he KNEW customer X had a PB removed before he brought his car for service. Since my dealer is mod-friendly, they did NOT void his warranty(although he did have MAJOR issues with his engine). I've become quite friendly with this dealer and WOULD put in a piggyback in a second(since I know they would "help me" if any issues became apparent). However, it's winter here and my 335 is garaged for now

Find me any company that offers a engine warranty on a user configurable engine computer capable of supporting 400whp race gas only applications. Making something idiot proof is only important if you think your customers are... well... you know Shiv |

Hells no... its hard enough to get warranty coverage from a company that I gave $45k to, I can only imagine a claim with a tuner who could just take your money and close up shop. No thanks.

I vote no because in most cases (and I mean most) you do not even use a warranty.
I'd like to think that I research the products enough before I install things on my car. When I did the tuner testing that was a little different because the tuners weren't on my car for that long. How many of you by the extended warranty when you buy a DVD or TV? How often do you use it? Never? IMO, the Procede doesn't need to come with a warranty. Honda has one of the worst warranty plans out there, but do you really need to use it?

I'll buy PROcede with warranty for 1900. no more!
for that, i would buy a warrant less one and take it out for each service!

If you had Dinan's warranty in mind when making this poll it's worth noting that the Dinan "warranty" has not quite lived up to its promises. (Personal and friends experiences) It's a marketing ploy reinforced by less than aggressive products that have a small chance of causing any problems outside of what BMW's own warranty would cover anyway, negating any potential loses. It's a business case, what fun is that? boo.
