Hi all,

I'm planning to install the following devices:
1) 6 disc dvd changer
(power cord consists of three wires, constant power 12v-3a inline fuse attached, ACC power-3a inline fuse attached, a ground wire.

2) one rear 9" monitor
(Power cords consists of 2 wires, ACC Wire has a 7a inline fuse attached and there are 2 bullet connectors at the end of wire[one for ACC and one for constant power?] and a ground wire.

3) digital tv box
Power cord consists of three wires, constant power has a 3a inline fuse attached,
ACC wire no inline fuse, and a ground wire.

I've been giving some thoughts on fitting a 20a SPDT relay as I want the above mentioned devices to be turned on/off when the HU(stereo) is on/off. fortunately, there is one remote turn on wire from the HU(dynavin d95) and that would allow me to fit a 20a relay to be used for my multiple add on devices as a turn on source. One of my main concerns is that when fitting a 20a SPDT relay, is it necessary to fit a power distribution bloc, ie.one input and 4-6 output and is there any other stuff that I should be awared of?

#30 output turn on source for multiple devices
#85 connect to factory ground location
#86 constant 12v from fuse box by using add a circuit fuse tap
#87 connect remote turn on wire from HU

Run the power wire off #30 from the relay to the distribution block(1 input/4output, and correct fuse rate?) I'm really confused now and hope that someone would put me in the right direction!

Any suggestion/input will be greatly appreciated!

Does one connector needs to be connected to a constant 12v source and the other connector to be connected to ignition on(ACC)source?

Hello mate.

I dont know if this helps but I have one amp running from the remote turn on and also have my reverse camera relay trigger running spliced into the amp turn on wire and have had no problems so far. I dont know what would happen if i was to connect 3 for our 5 devices to the same remote turn on signal but having spliced the remote camera relay trigger wire into it I have had no problems.

you can either use a distro block or just daisy chain everything. The actual current requirement for the remote turn on in pretty much everything is very low so you can run lots of stuff off one remote turn on source.
