Help removing driver side enclosure

How you doing everyone, I've been trying to figure out how to remove my JL subwoofer that was installed by previous owner in read driver side trunk, side mount enclosure. There is no screws aside from the grill to the sub. Enclosure seems to be stuck on to the liner of the trunk. Not really sure how to proceed as I can't change my Brake light bulb without removing it.

Any help is greatly appreciated, let me know if you need pictures.

Pictures would absolutely be needed as it could be a custom fit box or possibly one mass marketed by a couple companies for BMW trunk setups.. but I think most of those go on passenger side.

Have you tried using some plastic trim pry tools on the visible edges along the top to get any movement?

You said you can remove the screws for the grill to the sub, most subs that I've seen will also have screws along the top that you can remove that may provide access to the inside of the box where any possible hidden mounting would be contained.

But again, just shots in the dark without knowing either who made the box or seeing a ton of pictures to get a better idea of options for ya.

If you remove the speaker from the enclosure, are there any bolts or screws you can see from inside the box?
