2014 335i Dyno ABS issues

Hey All,

Went to the dyno today to get a baseline run before starting mods on 2014 335i Auto (ZF8). We strapped in, set mode to sport+, manual mode, and slowly started rolling through the gears. ABS of course was confused as it's seeing rear tires moving, and not the front, so it started apply brakes and flashing lights on the dash.

Next, we pulled ABS related fuses (5 of them according to the diagram), and tried again. This time the ABS seemed to not be clamping, but now getting "Drivetrain Malfuntion, loss of performance, blah blah blah.

So to be safe, we called it quits to do some digging before screwing something up, as the operators are not familiar with the car, and didnt want to do any harm.

Anyone else run into this? Did you just hammer down and everything worked ok?

Thanks!

I think so, I had it in Sport +, so it pops up the message that the trac control is off, but is there something else that needs to be done? Thanks

So....

Sport+ has "dynamic" traction control

But if you hold down Traction control button, it turns off all the electronic nannies
If the owner/operator of the dyno was pulling fuses on your car to disable traction control please find someone that know what they are doing.

I found th above information for you in a 5 mins search of google. As my E90, we can press and hold the DSC button and it will shut off all nanny just as described above for you.

That's the ticket!! Thanks for your response, it is much appreciated! That makes sense for shutting down all the trac control nannies, so that should do the trick.
