That is why I said I used a block of wood. One lift so far and no damage.

YEah I use a baseball glove, works like a charm as well. I thought about making an adapter with wood, the aluminum jack sold on here is also pretty nifty, buddy of mine has it.

For the front jack stand point, follow the front lower control arms back and you can support the car where the lower control arm meets the frame.

Since I noticed this information is not really posted anywhere in the site, I decided to take pictures when I attempted to jack my car up to make it easier and clearer for everyone to see where to put the rear jackstands exactly. This is for an e92. Credit goes to Chowbow to pointing me in the right direction.

And this why I had to put the car up on jacks, damm tire place did this to all four of my wheels.

Fortunately I was able to clean and shine up the inner wheel, wish it would stay like this. oh well

Anyways, I used the rear diff to jack up the rear end and I put the jack stands on the rear most jacking points... Worked fine for me and my hard plastic points are fine, never looked like they were sitting on jacks. I was just putting in an exhaust though... I won't be jacking up my car again in the future, since I have ramps for the front to do my oil changes.

It's probably not a good idea to jack up from the rear diff, but it probably won't kill it either. I think the regular jack points is safest.

Glad you got the jack points, and great idea to take pictures, might be worthwhile to add them to your first post for searchers too...

I've used the OEM jack points to raise the car many times without any issue with the plastic support. I use a hydraulic floor jack (Craftsman) and no adapter.

p.s can't see your pics this morning, or is it just me?

Just you, they are working fine. And the pictures show where to put the jackstands after while using the oem jack points.
