Wagner FMIC + BMS Intake questions?
I am considering to buy a FMIC and in Europe it seems that only ones available are the Wagner made, except for Ebay ones. There is four different models in Wagner catalog Evo I Performance, Evo II Performance, Evo I Competition, Evo II competition.
I use my car as a daily driver although I do not get many miles on it only few thousand in a year, no track use. I will take Procede out and install MHD flash in coming days/weeks. Which one of the Wagner FMIC should I buy? Is there any other FMIC's available in Europe which would do the job? Other question is about BMS Dual Cone Intake. I have purchased a unit back in 2009 and have once made the garage clean it out in oil few years ago. Should I do this more often? Or Should I replace the cones all together? My car has under 30 000 miles on it. |

Do you mind a little trimming of the bumper? If not get the EVO 2
If you want something 100% plug and play get the EVO 1

I went with the EVO 2 COMP. Very nice product in design and build. Summer temps can be hot, and I've seen charge temps as high as 150 degrees with the prior FMIC (AA sport).
I would recommend either of the EVO II products. Here is a log from the weekend. http://www.datazap.me/u/mnick/wagner...og=0&data=2-22

Thank you for the input. Trimming is okay if there is real world gains to achieved by buying the EVO II. What is the main difference of Competition and Performance versions, is it just weight?

Performance is bar and plate Competition does a better job at cooling and weighs less

The question is do I really need that much of cooling? As I said in first post the car is driven only on normal roads and fairly little miles in a year. Most of the year we have winter and at summer it do not get that hot for extended time period. Weight saving is insignificant as I have cabrio it is overweight already so few kilos wont save it.
