rumbling
So after about 20 mins of normal 50-60mph driving, my e92 330d starts to rumble as if the tyres are 20 pence shaped. On closer inspection the o/s/r wheel and brake disc is pretty dam hot, no hard braking done, all other wheels are ok.
i know my rear pads need changing. I thought at first could it be a wheel bearing but why would it start up after 20mins. I'm now wondering if the discs are warped, but again would this become more apparent after 20mins driving??? Tyres are 4 weeks old and have correct pressures? What are people thoughts? |

Could be a sticking calliper, jack it up and see how freely the wheel turns by hand.
I had the same just before xmas on my rear, needed a new calliper in the end as cleaning it and regreasing didn't sort it. The piston had a bit of rust on, so did a full brake fluid change and rear pads too |

Don't be daft. Jack it up without even taking the wheel off and see if it turns easily. Any garage can fit a new caliper, it cost me about £100 for it and an hour or two to fit. You'll pay a fortune at a dealers for exactly the same thing and probably get told you'll need disks too or something daft
