Wrongly advertised??
Hi guys.
I've been reading threads on here for the past 2 weeks. Some of you lads know your stuff! Found some great info on here so big thanks. I've owned 1 BMW. An e46 318i coupe. Absolutely loved the car. Was a pleasure to drive but unfortunately had to sell a year ago due to work commitments. So now I'm working back on uk soil and in the market for another. Preferably a e90 330d or 335d. Would appreciate any feed back you can give me on this advert on eBay. Item number: 182112039539 Now the advert implies that this car has 245bhp. This is the lci model. But the pictures clearly show a pre lci 330d which I believe has 230bhp. Just looking for some clarification on this lads. Must have been close as this car was registered in Feb 09 I believe. |

Definitely a pre LCI model, but a nice spec and colour. Suspect the text is a cut and paste from the internet on the part of the seller (from the mix of cars on his site, would suggest a generalist vs. a BMW specialist - hence the error?)
Using the DVLA's Vehicle Enquiry Checker https://www.vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk/ the date of registration and colour / model checks out - note the car's MOT expired on the 29th March and it's untaxed (not that Tax is now transferable). Would suggest you look around to see whether the price is right for the spec and age and then it's upto you whether you feel it's worth a look. |

You can also tell from the DVLA Vehicles details that with 160g/km of CO2 emissions it's the M57 (Pre LCI engine) vs. the N57 (Post LCI engine) which emits 152g/km (I think), so my money would be on it definitely being a pre LCI 230bhp engine.
