e92 335i front? clunks/rattle
Hey, I drive 2006 (07 model) e92 335i MT.
Recently i've started to get this rattling/clunk/popping noise that seems to come from front and right side. Its best heard when driving slow 10-40 km/h. Time between clunks/pops dont increase if i increase speed. I went to solid asphalt parking lot and kept driving around 30km/h straight and i kept hearing popping sounds from right front side, when i turned wheel all the way and started make a circle, the popping noise became somewhat louder?? I looked underneath my car today and checked all bolts behind the wheel that they are tight and if there's loose on anypart but everything seemed normal and all connections were tight?? Only wierd thing is that when i took the belly pan off, i found 1x 13mm nut standing ontop of that? It's exactly same as the 3 nuts that hold topside of strut/shock at enginebay side, but they all were there allready. So could this be related to this? couldnt find spot where this is missing.. Anyway, This is really frustrating as its really annoying and i'm on somewhat of a budget and therefore don't wanna replace everything as buying new parts blind. Sorry for bad english and all help is appreciated!! |

So is the popping still there after the bolt was removed from the belly pan?
You have to figure out if it is wheel rotation based or rpm based? Best regards, |
Appreciate
