ABS ligh flashes, speedo goes to zero

Alrighty, it appears I have a ghost in the machine. A few times previously I've seen the ABS light flash on for a second or two and then go off. Didn't ever think much of it. But this morning on the way to work about 6 times the ABS light came on, the Brake light (in the dash) came on and the speedometer flashed to zero. It freaked me out because my speedo suddenly dropped but then came back up to where it was. I also noticed the last time it happened I was on the phone with my wife and the bluetooth in the car shut off.

Has something similar happened to anybody? Any ideas what may be the cause? I'm trying to figure this out before I schedule an appointment with the dealer. I have very limited time and no convenient dealers.

check the battery connection, if all good, then its dealertime.
