Mobius Dashcam... which is the best SD Card

So bought myself a Mobius dashcam but not sure what Micro SD card to buy since there is a lot of confusion as to which ones will work.
I have a 32GB Generic micro sdhc card class 10 which seems to work fine to record but when connected to my laptop it isn't recognised as a removable drive.
Tried a 4gb micro sdhc class 4 and the records and is recognised as a removable drive

Preferably I'd like either a 64gb or 128gb card to go in there but not sure if it will work or which one to go for, any suggestions or recommendations from experience would be highly appreciated.
Thanks
Gaz

I'd go for a Samsung - 10 year warranty. Or Sandisk, 5 years I think. Class 4 seem to be recommended. Not sure on size. 32GB would be fine I think as it loops.

You want at least class 10 for dashcams recording in HD. Samsung and Sandisk are good.

They key is the write speed. Check mymemory - http://www.mymemory.co.uk/Micro-SDHC

I'd say at least 20MB/s upwards are generally decent cards.

You need to know the bitrate at which it will record, and then get a card with a write speed higher than that.

Thanks guys. At the highest quality rated recording it does 18mbps.

The DIY (http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...#post18752337]) has a link to t a 64GB Sandisk which I found on Amazon UK (https://www.amazon.co.uk/SanDisk-And...s=SanDisk+64GB), I think at least 8 hours recording would be fine as at most I drive 3-4 hour plus a few hours of motion detected recording while it is parked up.
The Mobius website recommends 32GB but says 64GB and 128GB may work, see that the DIY uses 64 GB Sandisk Ultra, I am hoping it will work for me :/ or should I go for the Sandisk Extreme (https://www.amazon.co.uk/SanDisk-Ext...s=SanDisk+64GB)
If any one out there uses 64GB with their mobius please do share what card you use and whether it is recognised and removable storage which camera is connected.
Thanks

I doubt the 64 will work. It would need an SDXC interface for 32GB+ to work and I doubt they'd not advertise it having that if it had it.

The Kingston card I linked to is plenty fast for your needs on this I think. I'd be wary of the Sandisk one as it doesn't state write speed so its probably barely 20mb/s

Thanks for the help mate, it seems mobius has a 64GB one that they sell on their actual website so would that work or similar class? https://www.mobius-actioncam.com/sto...ss10-micro-sd/

Thanks

I guess if it supports those cards. Their spec sheet is pretty non-existent.

£24 - http://www.mymemory.co.uk/Micro-SDXC...ss-10-UHS-I-U1

Or £15 but the write speed is only 25MB/s - http://www.mymemory.co.uk/Micro-SDXC...5MB_s-UHS-I-U1
