I was test fitting an e92/e93 pre LCI selma m3 rep front bumper this weekend on my "new to me" '09 e93 to get an idea of what other parts I’ll need for a clean installation. It looks like a belly pan with the m-aero package might be needed or significant re-work of the original one. Brake ducts for the m-aero are on my list. Looking at fitment it looks like the wheel well trim plastics might need replacement or tweaking but they don’t list any for the m-aero package. Anything else I’m forgetting or needing? I searched and didn't see a list of various oem parts generally swapped out when doing this front bumper which seems a pretty popular choice.

After doing more searching it seems that some others have had issues with gaps and mis-fits of the fender wheel well linings and most just trim to fit as there are no other options available.

For the belly pan there is an m-sport version available but who knows if it offers better fitment than the OEM e92/e93 version. Since my belly pan is trashed I might buy the m-sport/aero one anyway just to check it out. It can't be much worse than what I have now.

I'll answer my own thread for documentation purposes...

The fender wheel well plastics can be made to fit by simply notching the forward lip to go around the bottom of the bumper where it changes profile. Adding a linear cut in the notch several inches further will allow the wheel well liner lip to tuck up under the bottom of the bumper.

The OEM belly pan will then fit and tuck under the bottom of the bumper as well. It needs to be bent upwards at the point it contacts the fender wheel well liner lip but it will all fit reasonably well and most of the bolt holes can be utilized for respectable fitment.

I ordered one of the m-sport brake ducts for the heck of it since my OEM one was missing. I was just curious how much effort would be required compared to OEM to fit with the new bumper.
