You can start with these:
2 rear rotors from e32 part #34211162967 they are same size as e90 328i 300x20 but utilize 180mm parking brake shoes. e90 335i = 185mm parking brake shoes e90 328i = 160mm parking brake shoes e90 rear rotors are 76mm tall vs 68mm for the e32 so the it will not use 4mm from the parking brake shoes on the e90. If this fits you can move on to the calipers. 2 rear caliper with carriers from e90 328i carrier part#34216768696 left caliper part#34216768697 right caliper part#34216768698 I would suggest mounting a small washer between the caliper carrier and the hub mounting tab so it will center with the rotor better. I can't guarantee you that this will work as usually people upgrade not downgrade brakes. However, the numbers/dimensions make me believe that it should work. Additionally, the rotors are cheap: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rear-Premium...1Waea5&vxp=mtr and if they fit on your hub the e90 328i would fit 100% so id cheap experiment. Let me know the out come if you pursue this swap. |

Do you think going to 328 rear and f30 front will affect the bias too much? M3 master a good idea? Is the bias adjustable? What's the real world gain or loss for this combo vs standard 335 brakes and vs f30 front 335 rear? Only reason I'm considering it is I can fit 16" slicks vs 17" and maybe loose a tenth or two at the strip. Rest of the time I need to live with it.

Bias is not adjustable but you can play with different brake pads to adjust brake torque. I honestly don't think that you will loose something with this swap as most of the braking is done by the front brakes. Perhaps on the track not the drag strip or every day driving but even then the difference would be negligible. On the positive side if this work you can fit 16" wheels with slicks which are probably lighter than 17", also the rotors would be lighter too so a lot less rotational mass to help shave off some tenths on the drag strip. |

Block blew in testing. New block being installed this week. Old one was 226k and wasn't tuned yet. New one is 51k and going straight to the dyno for tuning.

E93 quarter mile
went to the track last night with my full weight E93. DA was 1000ft above sea level, but track prep was really good.
Ran 11.725 1.8 60ft trap speed of 122 miles Also ran a 1.750 so it wasnt a fluke. Ken did a great job tuning my car ![]()
