Replacing my CIC

So the more I look into why my navigation isn't working the more I think I have to replace the idrive CIC. I think the previous owner spilt coffee or something on the front part of the dash and it ruined the computer. My radio still works and navigation but no display at all. I have almost run out of all things to look at so at his point I'm thinking of just getting a new CIC. So the big question is how do I go about buying a new CIC? Since I'm not retrofitting from CCC to CIC as my car already came with CIC professional navigation stock. Do I still need to code the new unit to work with my vin or is it plug and play.

Hey PM I have a unit that can be precoded that will drop right into your car.
