Is it just me or do superchargers have slight lag?

The s5 and jag are both on the high end of 3k lbs. A fox body is on the low end. My Range Rover makes 300 lbfp pretty much directly off idle and it's really damn slow because it's very heavy.

I'm not an expert with superchargers but i notice the FGT has just a slight split second delay when you go wide-open throttle. Maybe that is to prepare u for the blistering acceleration? Maybe it's due to the 4L whipple ?

I am guessing this is the "Lag" you are feeling. Most cars you can do some minor programming and alleviate the non-linear throttle feel. Ive driven cars that were SC with stock throttle feel and modified throttle feel with no other modifications and the difference is extremely noticeable. |
