After looking at the stock pipe and the Fxx N55 "boost pipe" from ER:
http://evolutionracewerks.com/node/286
https://www.ecstuning.com/ES1897606/

I bet the turbo side would mate up just fine to an aftermarket FMIC coupling.

I emailed ER to see if I can get the upper section only for a test fit.

You would need a long piece of silicone tubing to make the connection.

Im thinking i could just put a 3"aluminum pipe after it and have a coupler on each end to my ets cooler. Still has to be better than stock.

I didnt hear back from ER but I PM'd Jeff @ top gear to see if he would sell me the turbo side.

Update: Top Gear is a no go.

I messaged slicksilver @ MMP about this since they just release a hotside replacement for the N54. I'll let you guys know if anything comes of it. So far I haven't received a response.

Sent my stock pipe to MMP for further investigation. Said it would be about a month to know whether this will be doable. The problem is CNCing the turbo flange.

Forgot to post: Evolution Racewerks will sell you the turbo side of their F30 pipe (its 2 piece) which is all you need if you have a aftermarket FMIC. It was $165 I think. I just emailed them.

I have not ordered it yet because I just put like 6K into the car, and i need to tune for awhile before i add more stuff.

I didn't realize that would fit. It doesn't have the same bend at the turbo as the E series one and looks to be a little too short. They said it works?

Nope its going to be an experiment, but when i had the car apart last weekend i measured it and spoke to them. Think its worth the $30 restock fee to test. 1hr job max.

Just a thread bump:
My lazy ass finally got under the car this weekend and test fit the ER hot side N55 charge pipe. I had a couple of issues.
The pipe connects and clips into the turbo outlet just fine. However, the later model charge pipe has a different seal that does not come with the ER pipe. I have an email out to them for the part #. I will update the thread when they respond.
Other than requiring a 45 degree elbow that I have on order already, it is a plug and play item.
NOTE: I have the Pure inlet that is larger diameter. Stock inlet may be an easier fit.

Nice to see someone finally take this on! if you get this to work, in theory all i would need is the ER pipe that connects to the turbo, a 3" 45 degree angled coupler and a F series oem O-ring? thanks for doing the leg work it is apperciated from the rest of us looking for a solution.

Yes. The only thing I'm not sure about is the gasket. I can only find one part number (ie. E92 and F30 have the same ring). Waiting to hear back from ER. The guys on n54 tech think it will blow right off. We will see, as I run 20 psi.

Well done, ill do this at the same time as the pure inlet. In your write up, you meant its best to install this before the inlet, because the inlet will get in the way of a bolt to install this correct?

Install the inlet 1st. The turbo outlet pipe blocks it in. The inlet bolt is not affected.
