Hey everybody,

I've recently spent quite a bit of time stretching my car's legs south of the border and figured you'd all be interested in how a FBO N55 running ~1/2 a tank of E85 stacks up vs. other cars on the beautiful highways of Mexico.

• Modded B8 S4
  
  This guy had at least an exhaust and probably more going on considering how well he kept up with me. I dropped it down to 2nd gear as we lined up at ~30 MPH and pinned it after 3 honks. Despite my nearly brand new set of SuperSports I had a bit of wheelspin and managed to pull half a length through 2nd and extended my lead to a full CL through 3rd. He asked about my mods and tossed each other a huge before going our separate ways.
  
  
• Stock E93 M3
  
  Nothing too crazy to report here, pulled a length on him from about ~70 MPH which apparently left him mad enough to not wave back afterward.
  
  
• Modded 2012ish Camaro SS
  
  This dude was a GREAT sport; his dark gray Camaro was sitting on dark wheels with an extremely throaty exhaust. We managed to get 3 super clean runs in after finding each other on a beautifully open freeway just before dusk. Run 1 was from 50 MPH in 3rd gear which put me a bit outside my powerband which ended with me having about a bumper on him.
  
  I dropped down to 2nd gear for a 35 MPH roll, honked it off 3 times and managed to pull half a length as we climbed into triple digits.
  
  He yelled about how he'd missed a gear as he pulled up next to me so we gave it one last go from 35 MPH. 3 honks later and I was a fender up on him, only to have him pull back on me through the bottom of 3rd, with me edging him out by about a bumper after we shut down in 4th gear. Thumbs up and giant smiles were exchanged before we split up.
  
  
• Modded '08ish Mustang GT + V10 R8 Convertible
  
  I was in the exit lane while heading back from an awesome go-karting session when I saw 2 pairs of HID's FLY up in my rear-view. A quick glance to the far left lane revealed a black Mustang GT and a black V10 R8 with its top down playing tag. Still riding an adrenaline high from racing, I decided to miss my exit to join in the fun.
  
  The Mustang driver didn't seem to be a fan of lining up properly and floored it as soon as he changed lanes next to the R8, getting a huge jump on both me and the R8. However, both of us reeled him in fairly easily and he ended up exiting before we could get a clean run in.
  
  The R8 and I ended up with a completely open freeway in front of us so I pulled up on his left and flagged him down. Thankfully he was more conducive to a proper race so after 3 slow honks from yours truly we were off! Now I'd like to make it very clear that he DEFINITELY dropped it a gear as I pinned in, giving me a decent jump. I ended up pulling a half length lead in 3rd gear and keeping it through the top of 4th. I honestly think he may have let me win, but I had got a jump while in the meat of my powerband and his top was down He tossed me a thumbs up and exited.
  
  
• Modded 1 Series
  
  Found an AW 1-Series with at least an exhaust to play with and pulled a couple lengths from 3rd->4th. Honestly couldn't tell if this car was a 128i or a 135i based off of the buslength I put on him during our 2nd run where we started in 2nd gear. Guy seemed like a good sport though.
  
  
• Modded E93 M3
  
  My most recent run-in was with a gorgeous sounding AW E93 M3. We got a clean pull (honked off) from about <3.5k RPM in 4th which ended with him at my rear quarter at the top of 4th. Dude gave a huge smile as we parted ways.

Hey dude, things are going well for me. I just moved back from SF and am planning on a Pure Stage 1 upgrade in the next couple of months after I save a little cash. Hope you're enjoying Indiana!

Map 5 when I'm running E85, Map 1 when I'm on 91. Also yes I do need a GoPro, feel free to donate one

I put down 330whp/390wtq on a DJ pre-intercooler and a failing fuel pump (it had to be replaced 3 weeks later). Waiting on my Pure Stage 1 to dyno again.
