it's not 8k he's keeping in his pocket, he's leasing! All he needs is wait until the rate of 335 become more reasonable so he can lease one close to G. it wont be the same, but similar. also if he cares about tuning and what not, it's a lot cheaper to tune a 335 than G37. that 8k difference can be made up right there. Some chip + DP's are about 2500 total and he can call it a day. To get similar performance out of a G he needs to go FI most likely and that's hella expensive and i have no idea why i just said *hella* coz im not even from norcal but then dont get me wrong, i am not hating on the G at all. But as long as I can afford a better car i do not really have a reason to go back to it, it's good, but there's better |

I doubt many 3 Series cars will make that milestone, especially not the 335i. |

Owned a G35 and thought it was a good car. I have always had my eye on a 335 coupe. When the new G37 came out, I thought the same thing, a lot cheaper for pretty much the same car. Since I had been test driving the 335 I knew how the car handled. When I test drove the G37, I was very diasappointed. I read all the reviews and even the one where they compared it to the 335. IMO, nothing compares to the 335. I know I spent more than I wanted on this car with all my options, but it was worth it. I am not saying you will hate the G37, but coming from a 335 will make it that much harder. Good luck with your decision. Go to the dealership and drive that car and see for yourself. Also, check out the cars for sale on this forum. Seems like there are some good deals out there. Just my two cents!!

+1 on navi and all electronics for sure... free comfort access and all the other gadgets... i wish it was 200 lbs lighter, wish clutch was more user friendly, and wish it didnt look like Lexus SC430

I test drove one when it first came out, Mantis was in it.
Seats weren't very comfortable, the backseat was TINY, and the trunk is basically non-existant. I forgot if the backseat folds down or not I think it is a good looking car and is offered at an attractive price. However I cannot get over the backseat and trunk. As far as the handling, the thing felt pretty large and heavier than my 335i, the tires screeched whenever I hit a turn semi-hard, but the exhaust note was lovely.
