looking for somebody near marysville, WA w/ i drive w/ haptic feedback.

My 2007 has it, I guess a 2008 wont, maybe late 07/early 08 build 2008s might but I am just looking for somebody near Marysville, WA I can meet up with and just see how your i drive controller functions because I am told mine is acting correctly but don't feel that it is, so Id like to compare to another car.

(what I mean by haptic feedback is you can feel the knob click as you scroll through options. Apparently you also only have the voice input button by the controller if you have haptic feedback)

Mine is a CIC, so it would not be apples to apple, unfortunately.

yeah, got a buddy with an 11 and he says his has zero resistance to turning the knob, like turning a volume knob. his roommate has a CCC but its an 08 and is the controller w/o the feedback (from what Ive been told anyways). its almost 50 miles down there one way though so Im not going to travel that far just to test the i drive knob, but my buddy says if he gets a shot at it, he'll get in the roommates car and check it out for me)

MaddMatt, I'm in Lynnwood and have idrive knob with the menu and voice buttons. If you still want to play with one we can meet. I'd like to see how yours feels too.
