for all you iForged owners!
Are you guys using stock TPMS sensors/valves or aftermarket? I want to keep the stock wheels/tires intact, so I ordered some TPMS sensors/valves w/ my tires at my local americas tires and the sensors will not mount to the wheels (using the iForged adapters).
Do I need OEM BMW sensors/valves to work? Anyone happen to have a pic of the sensor/valve mounted to an iForged wheel (other than the pics in the iForged thread)? Thanks, dave |

Ya, it's just that I didn't want to take the ones off the stock rims in case I ever needed to use them.
Just make sure you get the adaptor from Dan.

You need the adapters especially for the rears. The placement of the valve stem, although they're visually appealing cause you dont see them, they're a major pain in the ass to check your pressure and add air, at lease until you get used to it,

Tell me about it, everytime I check the tire pressure im down on all 4s with my hands reaching under the car. I have to pull forward for each wheel so the stem is on the bottom. Major pain in the ass. But better than an ugly stem sticking out on the outside

Agree 100%.... You know how many times I I've almost said F it and taken the wheel off to add air. What type of pressure gauge do you use?

I ordered the Daytona's from Dan (not here yet), and when I called Gary he just asked what wheels I had.

Which valves did you order? Did you get them from Dan@themodcity?
