Also the diffuser you currently have installed is an aftermarket one. The one that comes from factory is in the first pic i attached in the thread above. Meaning your bumper has already been trimmed a little on the inside to attach these aftermarket style diffusers so when you purcahse the carbon fibre one off ebay should be a simple swap over.

good luck
Yea i got it installed about a year ago, but didnt do it myself so hopefully they guys that did it, did a proper job! Hopefully its a simple swap over, if I do buy i'll post some updates

Quad Diffuser

I got an 07 E90 M-sport. I had to cut my m-sport diffuser to fit REMUS Race quad muffler/tips.

I am waiting since Feb-2015 for my Duke Dynamics diffuser, yes over 12 months now and still not shipped. Just warning you if you want to go down that path.

If I cant find something that is a decent price/wont take months to ship, i'll probably end up trying to cut my current rear diffuser to make room for the quad tips.

12 months is a hell of a long wait! If they still havent shipped I would definitely be checking up with the seller

Only other one I've found is this one -->
http://www.ebay.com/itm/06-11-BMW-E9...its=Make%3ABMW

Which is also from the US.

Just confirmed also that EuroDiv dont have a diffuser for a quad exhaust set up that will attach to a M-Sport rear bumper. They only have the option to change the entire rear bumper/diffuser to an m3 set up.

Thoughts on having the rest of the body as a M-Sport and only the rear bumper as m3, think it would look any good or a little out of place?

Just get the eBay one and wait. And stay the HELL away from Duke Dynamics unless it's second hand or from a reseller in stock. Their customer service has gone to shit in the last two years. Tonnes of horror stories and fitment issues that they never had before.

With the ebay one please note the placement of the tips. looks like the extra tip is on the outside of the current tip. Whereas in my Remus setup the extra tip is on the inside of the current tip.

All I'm saying is that your EBAY diffuser is not compatible with REMUS race setup.

Would you or anyone else know if the ebay one would be compatible with an iPe quad tip set up? I'm not sure if its the same as the REMUS race set up. Did the REMUS set up place the 2 extra exhaust tips on the outside or inside of the original exhaust tips?

Also do you have any photos of your cut M-Sports diffuser with a quad exhaust set up? Would be nice to see how it looks as I was/am considering doing this as opposed to paying $600 and waiting over a month for the ebay one

Mate I am 99% sure the pics on the Ebay one will not fit E90 335i.
Its for E90 330i/328i only.

If you go to the genuine manufacturer websites like 3D design(Japan) and Duke Dynamics, you will see that they make 2 types of E90 Quad tip diffusers. 1 for 335i and 1 for non-335is.

The non-335i diffuser cutouts are much further apart than the 335i diffuser cutouts.

The REMUS set up comes with its own mufflers. So i wouldn't say the any of the tips align with the original tips.

From personal experience it looks ok. But not great. I will post up some pics later. I had no choice but to cut it because of the duke dymanics b@stards!

The EBAY link does say that it fits an e90 335i. I entered the make/model of the car and it says its compatible. Look forward to the pics to see how it turned out. I'm not waiting 12 months for Duke Dynamics to send it to me, so looking for the next best option

If they send you the ones on the EBAY pics, it will not fit 335i. The pics are for non-335i e90 models.

I am trying to save you a lot of butt hurt

Have a look at 3d design page below and you will understand

Just took a look and I see what you mean, the design for the 335i Quad Tip setup is completely different. On the other hand though the ebay add does say it fits my particular model. Regardless of what photo they upload, the product they send has to meet the requirements of what is advertised. I've contact the Ebay seller with still no response. I may as well get the quad exhaust in the mean time and cut my current M-Sports diffuser as a make-do and then sort this out when they reply.

Does anyone know why an E92 quad diffuser won't work on an E90? I would have thought the rear bumper on both models would be the same? But what would I know lel

anyone have any photos of their 'cut job' on the m-sports diffuser. Just installing my quad exhaust over the weekend and would love to see how other people have done it!

And for future reference for anyone, the iPe quad exhaust, the extra (2) exhaust tips fit on the inside of the original 335i stock tips.
