Car synchs iPod touch
My car synchs the touch and wipes out the touch's playlists with old ones, rather then the touch over-riding the car. Anybody know how to fix this?

Is it all playlists, or the "On the Go" playlists. If it's the On the Go playlists, it happens everytime an iPod is docked, at least that used to be how it was.

Yeah, it may just be that one. I'll need to experiment.

The cool thing about On the Go Playlists (OTGP) is that those playlists are backed-up in iTunes everytime you sync with your computer. It sounds like the car is making the iPod think its connected to a computer, not just a player.

I assume you're plugging into the AUX port? If so, make sure you are using a stereo cord, not a mono cord. Also, make sure it's pressed in all the way.
