I'd go with the VRSF exhaust, I have it on my car and it sounds great. A bit louder than OEM at idle, aggressive at cruise and a monster when you get on it.

Well if you don't want annoying in the cabin you definitely don't want HPF as that is the loudest exhaust next to straight pipes.

I'd go with the other recommendations of the VRSF exhaust since it's conservative in sound.

Conservative sound go with VRSF DP, might be the best setup for daily drivers (VSRF DP + VRSF exhaust)

If you want a very aggressive sound, go with REMUS race + DP

Do you know if vrsf ever solved the problem of the brace not fitting on the coupes? I saw they were working on revisions a long time ago, but never saw an update.

We resolved that on the latest version. Our new exhaust offers better ground clearance and we include a spacer to clear the v-brace.

Whatever you end up with make sure it's a system with at least 2 resonators and either one large or two separate mufflers/resonators on top of that towards the back. If not you will hate driving on the highway. BMW inline 6's need either very large mufflers/resonators or multiples of them depending on if you like rasp or not because if not either way there will be drone.

I'd say either VRSF Exhaust or BMW PE. I'm currently running the PE with the VRSF dp's and it sounds great!

got VRSF DP with PE mod. I think it sounds pretty good. No drone. Fairly loud on a cold start, but quiet after that. Perfectly respectable on the street when you're not on it. Pretty loud when you do want it to scream.

Happy to hear this....the boys car is getting VRSF DPs this week and we are doing the PE mod this weekend if all works out. Never been so excited to bust out the angle grinder and welder on a BMW!!

Did the PE exhaust mod this past weekend on the boys e92 and it sounds killer. Kind of a pain in the ass but well worth the time and money saved....welding pretty thin metal back together was an exercise of my patience for sure but he's happy and we got to spend some extra time together! Double win!!
