The jpworks top mount manifold fits n55 too. One of you N55 guys should piece a kit together.

It's not going to be me. Anyone looking to roll the die on burning up your engine components or your entire car, have at it.

How would a top mount burn up your engine components? Plenty of people run them. If your referring to that guy that burned his car down he already stated it wasn't from the top mount.

Those are prototype pictures your showing at well..

this is how it fits

I am running that exact same manifold for months now.

No, you want the EFR series. The S and SX series are old technology. The 7163 I mentioned puts out some pretty insane numbers for the amount of spool (that exact turbo was developed and used in Indy cars). The 7670 is bigger if you want more power. Ceramic ball bearings, Titanium turbine wheels, forged and milled extended tip compressor wheels... All awesome stuff! Not to mention it has integrated wastegate and recirc valve like we need.

I agree on the EFR series, but dont agree on using a 7163 or/7670. These turbos max out around 600hp as listed on the site. The PURE stage 2 has the potential to hit 600whp with proper tuning. I dont see any reason to get a custon manifold unless you want to run a 8374 or larger.

We need to keep details associated with these turbos and such. What gas are we talking about here? And the n55 or n54? Because some of those projected hp #'s are on e85, which a a decent amount of people can't get their hands on.

We are only talking about turbos, not the engine. Turbos normally have a max HP rating to them. To hit those numbers you need to have the proper engine mods and fuel.

600 is a stretch for pure stg 2. With Steve he maxed 27psi with fuel and proper tune and was low 500's. You would need a bigger turbo for that kind of power.

We are getting way off track here. If you don't agree with my decisions, simply design and fabricate you own kit.

I never said anything about your decisions. I think its great you are going to build a new mani design. I for one do plan to put on putting a large EFR on once all the tuning is worked out.

As for the stage 2 PURE, no one has maxed it out. We have problems with misfires up top that have yet to be resolved. Based on logs iv seen I wouldn't be surprised if it could hold 28psi to redline once the kinks have been worked out.

Sry but on my car i can manage 22-23 psi at 7k in 50f ambient. Then dutycycle is 100% as of 5000 rpm where it can make 27 psi.

Peak power comes at 24.x psi at 5900 rpm on my car which is 540 whp.

I cant see it making 60 more whp nor making 28 psi at low ambient temps (dense air) till redline.

Most i have seen was 550 while average is around 520-530 and some pushing a tad higher.

So where this 600whp rumor comes from i dont know.

I have the outside mostly complete and am finishing up the flange side tonight. The main thing is getting centerline measurements of the turbo relative to the flange. This is my winter project, so please be patient. I need to meet up with Mile this week to return his turbo.

Oh yes for sure. Please don't mistake my question for rushing you. I was just merely trying to get some updates. Good work sir!!!!
