Hi guys, I know someone who is worried that he might have been caught speeding through a new style fixed camera on the M40 at the weekend. If the camera was active, how long does it normally take for a ticket to come through? Cheers

'Your friend' could well be looking at a ban if he was doing 110.

14 days and I don't remember seeing any cameras on the m40. Perhaps the average speed cameras on the a40? My worst enemy.
If he's clocked at that speed I think it's an auto ban

They usually arrive fairly quickly but can take the 14 days.

I dont know either where he saw the speed camera. I didnt see any myself when goin trough there. However, last time I was speeding there myself while goin to cumber sands I saw a police suv parked on a road concurrent to the M40 motorway that goes towards London. Luckily I was heading in the opposite direction
