Have you changed your injectors? It's likely that.

You can pretty much say that in any of the forum post of misfires and be right but that is a pretty good idea if they haven't been done yet.

I'm doing the Low Fuel Pressure Sensor first just because I would rather spend $100 than $800ish off the bat. That and the OP has the code for the sensor being faulty so that might work in his favor as well, changing the injectors is never fun (for your wallet especially).

My fuel pressure sensor was going bad and this is what it would do: I would start in the morning with 72psi of pressure and it would slowly drop as I drove that day. By the time I got to work, it would show ~65psi. When I would start the car to go to lunch, it would start at ~65 and drop to ~55psi. On the drive home, it would start at ~55psi and could reach ~48psi when I reach home. If we go out to dinner I had seen high 30's, but the car seemingly ran fine. I replaced the sensor and have 72-82psi at practically all times (Stg 2 pump upgrade).

If you decide to change it, save your self some trouble: Just remove the throttle body, charge pipe and slide the electrical junction box off of the prongs. No need to mess with the intake manifold as some recommend. It is a pretty easy job.

The sensor will cause a Fuel Pump or Fuel Pump Plausibility code, but it will not cause misfires. If the pressure is actually low, the DME has the flexibility to add up to 34% more fuel to compensate. You will only "feel" a problem when it cannot compensate with the adjustment at it's disposal.

Have your intake valves been cleaned (walnut blasting)?

True. But you can find the injectors for $120-130 per injector so that doesn't make it as bad.

Where do you see that price? I can't find them cheaper than 240. Rock auto is sold out I think

Truee, that's why that's next on my list before I start going for big boy numbers.

This is the exact misfire that I get except mine occurs on WOT and either 3rd or 4th gear lower RPM.

Always Cly 1, new fuel injector on the way.

In the mean time I've been testing the fuel injector cleaners and fuel system cleaners, which hasn't resolved the issue but at least they are getting a clean.

Either the fuel injector in cly 1 is really clogged up that under (stock tune) it's not an issue, but under Cobb AP stg 1 agr tune it can't keep up or the actual injector is faulty.... I'm leaning towards the clog build up not allowing it to spray the fuel in the appropriate pattern.

I hope that I am wrong, but I have heard similar things before. When you pull your injector, it should require some force to pull out. It should also require some force to install the new injector, it should not simply fall into place. If the resistance is not there, you may have erosion of the injector channel. I am unaware of an easy fix that lasts, although there may be one.

Good luck finding them in stock, but keep checking rock auto, auto zone, advance auto, o'reilly, carid, partsgeek, and probably some others.

There were 2 sets available for $650/set on the forums here, about 2 weeks ago. One of those sets currently lives in my car.
