Walnut Blaster for rent?

OFHG is leaking and since the intake manifold has to come off to do the job I figured now would be a good time for some walnut blasting. Anyone in the queens area willing to rent out their walnut blasting setup for the weekend?

Lol i dont think anyone is going to lend you their stuff. You can pay to have it done or buy the tools yourself.

G&B is in fresh meadows. They do for cheap.

Lol gonna have the parts off anyway, figured it was worth a try. You never know some people might be willing to get a little return on their investment.

1. Manifold doesn't have to come off, you go to the right person.

2. No one will lend you a $1,500 machine lol. Feel free to message me for someone who does it but that's about it.

1. Hopefully it doesn't, that'd save a lot of time

2. Lmao it's about 350 for the machine, the shells and the accessories. Only BMW would sell a walnut shooter for $1,500.

Well dealing with major engine components, you would want to make sure your using the correct equipment for the job right? And FYI BMW sells it for $1750, I purchased it through the manufacturer directly and it was $1500 it's specifically designed to operate at a specific PSI as well as with specific granules of walnut shells, so yea u want to trust your $7,000 engine to a $300 dollar machine that's your choice.

I am in no way a bimmer tech so your input is really appreciated and I do believe the correct equipment and OEM is always the way to go. But in this case I wouldn't go as far as to say the Bavauto $224 machine isn't the correct tool for the job, it's been tested by many other forum members and it does the job just as well. But as to my original post I guess I'll just invest in one.

As I said I'll have all the parts off off this weekend, either Saturday or Sunday. It seems a little counter intuitive to put them all back on just to have you take them back off. I have a air compressor, If you're interested in bringing your fancy shmancy walnut blaster to 11428 I'd love to have you do the job for a fair rate and a few brews ofc. Pm me if you're down
