So lately my car will be driving just fine and then out of no where the idle will jump up to about 1200 rpm and will give off the worst sounding high pitched noise. It will cut my power considerably and drives like shit. Everytime it makes this noise i will turn my car off immediatly and start it back up with no noise, powerloss, or any jump in idle. Its also not throwing a cel when it does this. Also it only does this when i either drive the car hard for some miles or when its warm out. 75 degrees plus. My guess is either pulleys and belt or vanos solenoid but i would think the vanos soleinoid would give a code. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Using inpa to pull codes? Might be a fault stored that you can't see with a standard OBD tool
