JB4 to MHD questions...
I have a few questions regarding switching from the JB4 to a custom MHD flash. To make a long story short, I'm waiting on MMP stage 3 turbos before I do anything, since my current VTTs are f***ed. I've been running the JB4 and a pump BEF for awhile now but I think I should have went with something custom more so that OTS. Based off previous races that I lost against a 135 and another 335 both using MHD with way less mods (intake, DP, and FMIC...wtf) than what I have. I've read something saying that MHD locks in your VIN number once you start using it. I'm not sure how true that is or not? When I first started flashing my ECU using JB4/[Admin Notified] flashes, I saw that my VIN was changed to something completely random. Before I did the flash, I did make a copy of my original. My question is once I start using MHD flashes do I need to upload my original ECU flash first or does that matter? Also does the MHD flashes take off the 02 sensor warnings, since I have catless DPs? Thanks

The MHD you buy on your Google account will be vin locked to your car so that you can't go and flash 10 other cars for free. Since you're already running a BEF I don't see the point in backing up your ECU. MHD will flash the latest stock rom for your car if you flash back to stock.
