Exclamation New custom exhaust issues

Drove home after install and noticed its extremely loud inside the car. Almost a constant annoying vibration sort of feeling plus loud. Sounds good on the outside but inside it's horrendous. I have a catless DP, 2 mids, 2 small mufflers and that's it. Drone comes to mind or even maybe a leak in the DP or muffler hitting heat shield...don't know but I hate it.

Any thoughts?

Probably a leak. Check by the downpipe to midpipe connection. I had a leak and it was coming from there, causing fumes to get inside the car.

Culprit might be the DP because when I got it he noticed a small crack inside. He stripped the powder coat off rewelded it. Checked for leaks and none. Maybe the V-band is not on like you said. He also mentioned he had a tough time getting the fitment correct. Who knows...we'll find out soon enough. I'm just pissed.

My tech says I either needs J pipes installed before mufflers or resonators. He is leaning towards J pipes first. Going over Saturday to have him listen and give me the fix. Fingers crossed...

The fix will be to cap off 2 resonators and attach before mufflers.

OK... the 2 capped off resonators are welded on. Drove it around a little and it appears some drone is gone. Cruising on the highway it's still just F-ing too loud!! Either I ditch the DP and/or just get a bigger muffler set up. I have 2 small mufflers and straight pipes. I need some help bad! WHAT WILL REDUCE THE LOUDNESS?? BTW I'm in melt down mode...

You need to go back to stock mufflers in that case. Do the pe mod or leave them stock. That is your only bet. The car sounds already good with a catless dp, IMHO.

i think I need larger mufflers at this point as the two I have are very small. Were talking not much bigger than the capped off resonators next to them. Maybe a 6 inch small oval shape and 11" in length so they're small as hell. Going big is my next step I think.

I would do what trixdout said and go with the stock mufflers. That's what I have and its maybe only 2db louder than stock.

On a side note that exhaust looks nice would you mind recording a video?
