Ok technically it's my third but I dumped the E90 328 4 years ago. Picked this one up for my fiance. She used to have a long work commute so she drove the beater Honda but the car was to worn out that it looked like a even a suicide bomber would pass on it. Traded it in for $1,500, which surprised the shit out of me because I was expecting to maybe get a Chipotle burrito out of it.

Anyways, being a chick she's not into the horsepower thing.. So she wound up getting a 2016 228, with 3k miles on the clock. Picking it up Monday afternoon but here is a pic.


I'll probably pick up the M235 (or M240) in 2 years or so for myself. .

Auto or stick? Either way a great addition to the stable.

Im thinking of getting a manual 228i as my next car in 2-3 years.

Auto. That tranny is smooth as silk. Chick can't drive stick. Definitely a great little car once you add some options to it. No slouch either, was surprised how quick this thing is.
