Issues with 4BAR TMAP - Engine Malfunction
I have a 09 335xi that is FBO + Inlets + RB Turbos + Meth. I have a tune for just 93. I then added meth and used it for about 1 month as a cooling option before I got the 4Bar added. For last month I have drove around with the 4BAR added but using the flash for a stock sensor. I had no issues with it, I had to check the 4bar in MHD of course. So now I got a flash from my tuner which is a 4bar base. And now I am having issues.
I can reset the codes on the car, and then a few hours later after driving the car and then letting it sit. I will get a 2ABD Pressure intake sensor rerunning with a Engine Malfunction light. I can reset the code, but it will come back a few hours later. The car doesn't feel any different. Not sure if this is a faulty sensor or if the MAP settings in the flash are off? |

Have your tuner revert your "TMAP conversion" table back to stock stock config, and the MAP max voltage to 4.65 and then when flashing select the MHD 4bar support.

Its a crap shoot. Seems to be more pronounced with cars that run I8A0S. So, revert the TMAP Conversion table back to factory settings, and set the "MAP Max Voltage" table in the map itself to 4.65, and then when flashing select the MHD 4bar support option.

That will not be enough if the map uses the 3 points conversion table, with improper 4 bar values.
