I think for dual setups, it's better to go with twin CM7s, which is what Russ is running.
Once I get the 2nd bung welded, I've got a CM10 at the moment, but will try with a CM5 too.

Yep as Tinsta says I'm running DO7's. I think the Devils Own and Cool mist work out pretty much the same. I added the extra bung as I was having issues with my trims... Meth was flowing to bank 1 more than bank 2. I pleased to say the improved atomisation and position of the second Bing has improved the balance.

That's really interesting if it is because you'd think the meth would flow to 4,5,6 more easily with our manifold design. The mass of the meth would obviously not make it want to change direction and momentum. Angular acceleration etc. One chap did some flow simulations: http://dreamdesigndrive.blogspot.co....?view=flipcard I run a pair of CM7's guys and they are like a hose. Russ did a calc and I think they were spraying more than I need but I'm never going to complain about to much methanol I think a pair of cm5s was closer to what is suggested as ideal.

I'm still torn whether to just go with the single CM10 to start with or straight to dual CM7's as both of yourselves (Jack/Russ) have had issues and had to go this route anyway.

I went dual after reading about the issues people with singles were often having. The main benefit is that the duals produce a finer spray but if you had a big single as far away from the throttle body and manifold as possible, you'd probably be OK.

You are correct Jack...Bank 1 was richer...now I'm using the DO7's the trims are much much closer!
Just looking back on the data..>Devils Own link the name with the flow so a DO7 flows at 441cc/min which works out at 7 US gallons, a DO10 is 10 US gallons and so on. Coolmists CM7 is actually flows at 10 US gallons per hour. So I'm pumping 14 US gallons per hour...a little more than a single CM10 (13 US gallons) http://www.promracing.com/methanol.php http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2466060 http://www.methanol-injection.co.uk/...ion/nozzlecalc I think dual is better simply because of atomisation...not because you can push more in.

That won't matter too much if you plan to dilute it down. I pay something like £1.55 a litre. I suppose it lasts around 3 months.

I have a friend who uses it in his Supercharged E39 M5 at about the same rate (50/50mix) I do so we went halves on a barrel, financially it made sense as like you we were buying 20 to 25L each time we ordered.

I wouldn't be happy storing that much fuel in my garage There maybe a clause in your home insurance? Plus a 20L drum last me around 8 months...

Haha I would dream of storing that much at home! No my mate that I share the drum with has a commercial garage with secure storage for drums like this. I can just fill up or collect as I need it, just works out much cheaper for us this way
