06 325i n52 rough idle help?

As title states my n52 has a slight rough idle at park and neutral but if I give it the slightest gas it's completely gone runs and drives great any help would be appreciated.

(Idles at 600rpm rough but if I give it a tiny bit of gas and have it sitting at 700rpm idles very smooth and perfect)

As a first step, find someone with a fault code reader to see if your engine is throwing any codes.

I have a BMW code reader the codes I get pulled up are (dmtl fault) and (intelligent battery sensor). I didn't think other of those work cause this problem would they?

Nope. Those two issues are unrelated and fixing them isn't going to the rough idle that seems to plague higher mileage N52's. I have the same issue and could never solve it after replacing various parts. I've just accepted it because other than that, the car still runs fine so it's not detrimental to the car and/or it's performance.

Ok thank you yeah it doesn't bother mean and my car runs perfect. I'm just selling it now at the moment just bought a 335i. And am thinking the idle may scare some people off ?

Since you're selling it, try and see if cleaning the MAF and Vanos solenoids might help. Could be something as simple as a dirty MAF or sticky solenoids.

Surprisingly not much a little over 30k on the engine the body and rest of the car has 132,000. The motor blew so we swapped a newer engine in.

Just dmtl fault. And intelligent battery sensor. I'm almost thinking only way to fix the issue would be to have the idle adjusted or the software updates from what I've read.
