I checked with Jim from Tirerack (from the E90POST.COM forum and BIMMER.ORG) and he confirmed that my 17" style 44 wheels from my 2002 330xi will fit my 2006 330i. I plan on putting 225/45/17 winter tire run flats on the style 44 wheels on my 2006 330i.

Take a look around the Wheels forum here.. this has been asked many times, but the answer is yes, but it may be recessed so it may not look good I think.. but nothing some spacers can't take care of .. check out these threads
