scangauge II

Has anyone used the scangauge II tool to monitor your engine? It looks like a great idea. Those of us without an engine temp would be able to get the ecu readouts. I for one like a little warning before something really happens.

Thanks for the feedback. Does anyone know of a similiar tool? It looks like it would even give us the correct mph. (if the computer is correct).

I tried it tonight (335i E90), and it appeared to work - water temp went from 157 to 193 while idling (didn't drive it), and boost, RPM, GPH and a few others seemed to work. The oil temp was always at the low end of the scale, and never moved up during this time. I have used it on my Subaru, and it seems to work fine.

I will try it this weekend and let you know.
