Jb4 mhd
I am looking at a single turbo kit. All I have ever used for tuning has been cobb with protuning freaks tune to load maps. This jb4 mhd stuff seems like a foreign language to me. Who do you guys recommend in the area or maybe online to ask for help or tune the car if I end up going the st route.
If your wondering why st... I had two sets of twins go bad on me already. (Safe maps 18psi boost) |

I currently run JB4+MHD e85 backend flash on my stock turbos. If I was going single turbo then I would run the single turbo backend flash or I would contact Wedge for a custom tune. Me personally I would just spend the extra $$ to get the custom tune so I could get the most out of the single turbo setup. If you are on facebook join the team bimmer group there are plenty of locals that would be willing to help you out.

Great! That's good to hear, I will join! I have protuning freaks custom maps for e85 and 93 and it looks like they have support for st kits as well on their website but it says they have "sold out" not providing services to any new customers. So I will definitely take your advice and go for a custom map.
