Can't code new angel eyes with Carly. Help. Remote code me $$$?

Got some custom headlights with aftermarket angel eyes. Passenger side angel eye turns off after 10 seconds, driver's side is fine. I have carly but can't seem to get it to code the AE so it stays on. I keep getting the passenger drl failure error on my idrive.

I've spent 2 hours trying every setting on carly with no luck.

Any suggestions?

Anyone want to make a quick buck and remote code this for me? I'd really like to get this done today so I can drive my car again I'm not driving around with an AE out.

Thanks in advance for the help guys.

Edit: I am a 2007 build. I wonder if that is the issue? I would rather not have to buy this and upgrade my frm: http://m.ebay.com/itm/like/222127525...99&_mwBanner=1

What is the quickest way to find out what frm module I have? I did a quick Google search but could not find instructions.

They are dtm style angel eyes from bav auto. I was told to set all led brightness to medium which I did but it did not work. I was told I can try higher as the drivers can take it.

Do you have ncsexpert installed and running on your laptop? I can see and code what you need remotely , but sometimes, when angel eyes have more power than is supposed, it throws an error.

You need to install BMW standard tools, and e89 datens at least. There's some threads here in this forum about that.

Go into Carly, select the FRM module & find the options that say something about "angel eye voltage monitoring" and "angel eye warning". Turn both of those off.

That should solve your issue.
