Bigger or extra oil cooler??

I've been talking to my performance hop who does my installations about the ongoing oil temps in our 335s. Now they suggested to me that they could replace my oil cooler with a larger one like Dinans and customize tthe installation themselvs (FYI:very capable shop, owned by one owner whos also owns the nissan dealership, they have many cars over 1000hp, and have has many cars in magazines) Now I have a couple questions:

1. Since our cars are so complicated will they have to do some ecu work to retrofit this bigger oil cooler, is tthere any other problems than just bolt up and drive?

2. Would it be better to replace the oil cooler with a bigger one in the stock location, or add another one on the driver side?

I mean the way this shop talks it would be no biggie to replace the stock oil cooler with a universal bigger one in the dimensions we want, and have them hook it all up no problems? anyone knnow of other issues to be addressed?

Nothing electronic to do - just the packaging issue - the bigger cooler takes some mods to the fender well plastics etc - the dinan one is well engineered and easy to fit. Not sure if you have the room to get one in the other wheel well - that is more complicated as you need to put in some ducting to get the air up to it, make mounts and then vent the wheel well to let the heat out, not to mention getting all the hoses over there etc - probably much more costly than even the overpriced dinan unit (or wait for someone to copy the dinan unit for half the price!)

Is it possible to add an additional oil cooler though? like installing an extra one behind the front grills like vip did. Wouldnt it be better to keep both instead of uninstalling one and usng a bigger one. Or is it possible to cool too much to the point where the car doesnt run properly?

Check out what Walked U did. He added a much larger oil cooler in the empty space behind the FMIC.
