I thought the same but VTT had such a horrible review at the time. RB seems to be the best option as well as Pure.

From all the stories about rb/vtt. Hexon seemed the most "best bang" option. That's why I chose them. Along with their warranty claim and how they were supposed to pay for labor and send u a new set was another reason I went with hexon. Just cannot believe they have been MIA the past couple weeks. I'm praying something happens and we all get this crap figured out

Hmmm...your shop has installed 100s of turbos? So sounds like at least 300-400 sets based on what you're saying...
If that's true, can you please elaborate on what brands they are typically installing?

I find this claim hard to believe for a single shop, unless it's a dealership and they are installing all oem turbos.
Multiple guys in my area have had their hexons, pures, VTT and rb turbos install at the shop I got mine done. They are very well known in chicagoland area so the point I was trying to make was that , it couldn't have been installer mistake to make my rear turbo fail.
What's the shop called? Id be interested in them also since I'll be needing new turbos at some point soon and I'm from the area.
Performance Solutions in Schaumburg is a highly skilled shop. He might be talking about them

Pay for labor? I doubt any vendor will help pay for labor, cover shipping costs and such, but other than that the user is responsible for labor costs

I remember reading on these forums that if you claim warranty with Hexons, they will pay for reinstall and send you a new set immediately before you send in yours.

You can dispute on paypal as long as you did not send the funds as a gift.

The strategy has worked in hexons favor.... I cannot file any disputes via paypal because its past 180days. Had the turbos ship in a timely fashion then this problem wouldve came about at least 2 months ago. Ive had contact with wayne up until July (im sure right up until that claim date).. Safe to say noone should buy from them. Mine isnt the only issue, others just too embarrassed to post, i know of 3 issues since ive posted. People need to stop being quiet and inform the community.

Hmm I had heard of a few RR600's having issues being blown, good to see some honest feedback popping up here!

I can kinda relate to hexon if they're snowed under with work, trying to pump it all out. You dont want to be turning away orders so you accept orders knowing that you're going to struggle to meet the usual lead time.. (no excuse though to not be honest and transparent as much as possible with your customers and to keep them well informed though!)

I was considering RR600's then thought I may be best to pony up for RR700's discussing them with jeff at TGS. But now after hearing how slow their lead times are I may just pay the extra for a set of pure's for a piece of mind unless I win a set of VTT GC's!!

Why not just call the credit card company? Screw PayPal....they're just a middleman/processing... Call visa, mastercard, discover whoever... Cut PayPal out of this equation 100%.
