Injector coding
Hey guys finally got my car all back together...
So my new issue is injector bank 1 isn't providing enough fuel causing it to stumble a bit. its index 10 and i will be replacing it with a index 9 that i picked up for cheap. Can anyone provide my links to the necessary software to code these? |

I had even a worse time with index 9. They are one of worst batches. Consider going to a 12
If the 9 is actually in good condition it may get you by for a little. But most people selling used are hiding something otherwise why else would they sell? Good search BMW Injector coding, plethora of threads. |

just put in index 12 injectors run some injector cleaner every 10k and be done with it. don't know why people mix and match injectors. especially old ones with an unknown amount of use.
with only 1 o2 sensor monitoring 3 cyl you ideally want 3 injectors of the same age/use and same index. this ensures that they have the same flow characteristics and you get proper fuelling in each cyl. seems like the issues are resolved with index 12 failure rate seems to be alot lower. |
