Just like you did with your motor mounts, how did those end up fitting?

Funny how you two people assume I used money to make my purchase. But you know what they say about assumptions and two people are doing a fine job of holding up to that adage.

Not sure how me asking about the safety of an aftermarket pi system that has had limited time on the market goes to show my lack of research.

As for the initial questions, I just wanted to start the ball rolling and get further insight since the aftermarket fueling area has taken off over the past year.

Why? I did my research on the main individual component (which is limited in reviews just like many initial aftermarket turbos newly released) I knew the supplemental aftermarket parts needed were available(Fueling, tuning, etc), just needed to decide which route to go. So please tell me again why I should have done it according to your methodology. if I was going to get the GCs either way whether I opened this thread before or after is moot. Go be useless in another thread, thanks.

Enough banter, any additional input into additional non drivetrain parts I may be missing would be great.

Thanks,

Naw dawg, you all set.

Looking forward to seeing how close your setup comes to stock turbo fbo power levels!

Glad you know more about my post history than you do about the parts you just bought...glass houses, stones, etc.

That comparison along with that saying shows your I.Q level to be double digits.

Parts I just bought? I only got turbos and 3.5 bar sensor, once again, shows your minimal knowledge of anything. No one obviously respects your opinion in the real world so you try to get some on a forum, good for you.

Yeah because it's my fault AD Engineering doesn't know how to send an email.

I'm in uncharted territory with single turbo on Xi...you can't even add a fuel line without worrying about your car burning down

Uncharted territory, I see you're very modest especially considering there has been a single turbo xi running around for 2 years already. And your comment about the fuel line is ridiculous, anyone who doesn't do their due diligence when installing aftermarket fuel lines is stupid.

Let's think, I've installed my own dps, subframe bushings, valve cover, walnut blast, transfer case, and so on, there is a bit of my background.

What's your best 1/4 or 60 to 130 time. Hopefully you're not just a dyno queen.

If you're flash only, AIC. If you use a piggyback, JB4 has very nice PI integration.

So far I have:

1.) Not going stage 3 lpfp, just stage 2 and plan on running 50-70% e85 max

2.) 3.5 bar sensor

3.) Tuner, anyone recommend a good tuner for high boost, I'm running MHD now.

4.) Spark plugs, I hear NGK5992 gapped to .22 works well

5.) Different oil? currently running mobil 1 0w-40

6.) Just installed new coils

Any other suggestions are appreciated.
Think hard about your stage3 choice. 'High boost' will put you in the 700whp range on GCs, and you're going to need the extra flow even on an E50 mix.

You also need PI.

Get the 4BAR instead of the 3.5BAR.

Gap your plugs to .018.

You need to address your PCV shortcomings. (ie. going external PCV, tapping the head ports, running VTA or back into the system).

FMIC upgrade if you don't have one yet.

My guess is pretty well, considering he's out there driving his car and not on here asking questions.

At least you got your oil preference and spark plug gap specs squared away

You get those mofos installed playa?

Just noticed a couple part out threads from Milan the uncharted, that's all.

Installing the pi kit now, the whole job will get done right even if somewhat slowly..

Noticed that you subbed for the vtt giveaway, good luck pimp, I know youve been a big supporter of theirs.

Yup; free is free. Besides, their GC line is finally a set of twins that make sense; starting from the ground up might finally make this option a reliable one.

I think their "Lite" or even an "Ultralite" version would be perfect for most peeps. Time will only tell though regarding QC, etc...let's hope Tony pulls a reverse Hexon on this one

Ya, feel bad for the people who bought hexons. As for seeing the gc lites come out they got me wondering about trading in the standard GC's for them. But the amount of torque they make down low is unreal and will probably just break things quicker on my car. Gonna stick with the slightly slower spool of the gcs and have the turbos be tuned conservatively to get 600whp and maybe everything won't break at once on the drivetrain.
