Engine malfunction help

ok so i was driving the car on the highway till i received the fatal engine light half filled saying power has be reduce ext..... i have an 07 335i coupe and it just hit 100k literally the other day. i stopped once i got into town and turned off the car and turned it on and there was no error code. ok so now this is where i need help i have a muffler delete on the vehicle. would that void any warranties like the hpfp or fuel injectors? need to know before i take it in. Thanks !!!

really depends on where you take it and if the people there are cool or not, most performance or mom & pop shops wont care because there is a mutual benefit (you get whatever fixed and they get business) whereas the dealership is probably going to act more strict.
