Sticky soda spilled into radio/aircon buttons - what to do?

My daughter had a passenger "knee up" the bottom of a soda in the driver's cupholder and splashed/spilled sticky soda into the passenger-side half of the radio and air conditioner system buttons in her 2011 335d.

Anyone know a remedy for that which does not involve taking the dash apart?

thanks much.

Try soaking and drying in a non conductive solvent.

They go for less than 100 bucks on ebay and there are only two plugs
that detach easily with a throw of a switch.

From the above I would guess its easy to disassemble
and clean.

I would try q-tips and alcohol.. Use alcohol in a spray bottle to flush out between buttons.. Make sure not power anything up until alcohol evaporates..

I sprayed some rubbing alcohol in there and soaked up the drippings with q-tips. Seemed to help a lot.

Thanks all !!
