335i is very fuel efficient (when you resist the lead foot)

Drove from Bad Windsheim to Grafenwöhr today only used 1/4 tank getting there and got back with 1/2 tank left. Here's the pics (second one is KM the third is Miles, sorry for the poor quality cell phone cameras suck):

So true. On my hwy commute 37 miles each way with little stop and go I average between 26.5 and 27.5 mpg at 75-80mph with a little around town thrown in. Of course steady around town and under boost it goes down the toilet in a hurry.

I average around 480km/tank mixed duty. On the freeway, I'll get 700-800kms a tank depending on whether I sit at 100 or 110km/h

I took it easy on one trip on the interstate and was getting near 30 MPG. I was pleasantly suprised by this.

my best tank ever was a little over 500 miles. I went down to the DC meet last year, and came back on the same tank...I filled up near the Holland Tunnel with 2 miles remaing...it averaged to over 33mpg I think..

I recently did a 1700 mile round trip and I got roughly 450 miles per tank going at around 80mph average. The computer gave me a 29mpg average or so. This trip was done over I-10 West to East and East to West, I was very impressed considering the car was fully loaded.

For my 4 mile drive to and from work in the cold, I have been getting about 15mpg. Hop on the highway and things get a bit better.

This car is very fuel efficient if you threat it nice, more than some V6 100-150HP out there.

It takes big balls to push it all the way to the limit, but it take even bigger balls to drive it like an old lady , i just can't do it.
