for those with procede/V2 what do you get when you hit speed limit of your car ? check engine, service soon light, etc? please let me know as im geting check engine at 130-135mph

That's well below the speed limit of 155mph. Why should this be related to the V2 speed limit defeat?

Because the us cars without the M option are limitted at 130... do we get one at 155?

no cars with sport package get limit at 155 cars with out like mine get it at 130-135 mph has nothing to do with usa

im asking how your car acts with V2 when you hit mor then 130(with out sport)or 155 (w/sport) do you get check engine? and im not talking about speed delimiter of V2

I have the sport package on my 335xi (155limit) and I hit the limit yesterday. No check engine, no codes... Feels like a fuel cut, but not as intense. I just couldn't go any faster The other green loom is going in this weekend .

You will get a check engine light, the way to eliminate that is one of two options first download the 01/10/08 map that has a lower speed clamp signal, second, try to shift at around 6600 RPM's rather then 6800-7000. I have taken my car up to 160 by shifting early method with no issues.

That's weird because I hit 155 in 5th gear and I didn't get a check engine light. I do have the 1/10/08 delimted map, but I don't have the second loom installed.

I've never got any lights from hitting the limiter with V2 either, done it quite a few times too

I pretty sure you'll get to top speed faster if you shift a few hundred short of redline in fourth gear anyway. This was definitly true with V1.4x in third and fourth, and even with V2 I feel like the last few hundred rpms in fourth aren't worth it, just shift a little short and you are right back in the fat part of the band in fifth and what a good feeling it is

I read....someone said 183 with V2 but that is hard to believe. Someone had a GPS. What do you think?

ok so geting check engine with V2(no green lomm) is problem , when there is no problem your fuel gets cut off and thats it ,I'm still geting limp when i hit 130mph so there is a problem, i have to talk to Shiv
