tint squeak/scrape

got my car tinted a couple weeks ago and the tint is making squeaks and scraping sounds. the tint on the driver side window even got scratched so i have to take it back for a redo. regardless, i spoke with someone who suggested that the tinter used too much alcohol when tinting and this dried out the seals. any idea what bmw uses to lube the seals?... just thinking this may be easier than going to the dealer...
