Help me out with front plate issue
I live in NY and dont have my front plate (legally you have to) I love the look of it without it so im keeping it off. I want to keep it in the car just in case of everything but I dont see anywhere good it fits, does anyone have any kind of idea of a neat way i can store it in the car? maybe some kind of holder? thanks

I used to mount it on the passenger side windshield by using 4 suction cups (one that usually attached on the small size doll or one on the radar detector mount).
Well, cop gave me warning for that. So I just mounted back on the bumper.

Just so you can easily show the officer that you have it and its not stolen or being used on another car. One time when I was pulled over he asked me where it was and I told him I'm waiting to recieve the bracket, but I have the plate in the car and showed it to him.

If you really want to keep it off then do it. All you have to do is take a picture of it on your front bumper (tape it, or suction cup it) and then show it to the judge when you show up for your ticket. It will get dismissed and all it good.
Now, if you get another ticket for it chances are that trick will not work again. G/L

Basically, this is what I did...
http://www.socale90.com/forums/showt...ht=front+plate You can take it off whenever you want (2 screws). If you are driving in risky area...or get a fix it ticket..just put back on temporarily. You can't see the holes...they are underneath.

Please dont do this. This is not only dangerous, but it still does not pass as having a front plate mounted. In case of an accident, that sharp metal plate will become a flying projectile that you do NOT want to be anywhere near you.
