HELP!!!! Cant Find This Part !
Hi!
So the tiny little square piece that covers the tow hook license plate area of my car got stolen. I have a alpine white 2011 bmw coupe. I went to the dealership and they wanted $60 for it just primed and another $130 to paint it. No way I'm paying close to $200 for it. Anyone know where I can find a replacement or what it's called ? Besides tow hook license plate cover!? |

Alpine White is a fairly common BMW color. Go to the service agent or manager at BMW. Ask them if they could hold on to the cover and paint it the next time the bodyshop is spraying something Alpine White.
Or call an independent bodyshop and see how much they'll charge to paint it. I doubt you'll find one pre-painted. Unless it's from a used car. |

Might have one on hand from an Mtech bumper I had painted AW. If I do I can sell it to you for $50. Send me a PM and I'll check today, thanks

I would try calling a BMW dismantler. There are a few in the bay area that I've dealt with before that usually have numerous e9X cars on hand. I'd be surprised if they didnt have one to sell you on the cheap. BMR parts is one example. I bet they have a busted bumper with that piece still in tact.

Guys just vinyl wrap it, same thing happened to my car and that's what i did. Buy the sample vinyl its like $2 on ebay, and you can find the tow hook cover for the front and rear bumper on ebay as well for around 14-20 dollars. Don't pay an arm and a leg friends!
